Optional 640Ah system

The Nomad upgrade provides a 640Ah LiFePO4 battery bank and 3000W pure sine wave inverter. It offers more stored energy and greater inverter headroom for customers expecting heavier appliance use or fewer campsite hook-ups.

Actual off-grid duration depends on cooking, heating, refrigeration, weather, charging input and battery condition. A larger battery increases capacity but does not make energy use unlimited.

Can an ID. Buzz campervan be gas-free?

Yes. The Wyre uses a 1000W induction hob, so an LPG bottle is not required for cooking. Its Intelligent Grid Priority System temporarily pauses leisure-battery charging when a high-demand cooking appliance is used on campsite hook-up. Charging resumes automatically when the cooking load ends, helping reduce combined demand on the campsite supply.

Can the Wyre run a kettle or air fryer?

Suitable appliances can be used provided their individual and combined loads remain within the selected inverter’s limits. The 2000W standard system is intended for controlled appliance use. The optional 3000W system offers more headroom, but appliance ratings still need to be checked.
