Yes, all our conversions are built to NCC-aligned standards. The NCC (National Caravan Council) sets the benchmark for quality and safety in the UK leisure vehicle industry, and our builds follow these guidelines throughout.
Because our conversions are built to NCC-aligned standards by NCC Academy trained professionals, we've partnered with Caravan Guard to offer 14 days' free insurance with every new conversion. It's a reflection of the quality and credibility of our builds — Caravan Guard are confident enough in our standards to back it. This gives you immediate cover from the moment you drive away, with time to arrange your long-term policy without any gaps. Terms and conditions apply — ask us for details.
Yes. Our converters are NCC Academy trained, meaning they have completed accredited training recognised across the UK campervan and motorhome industry. This gives you confidence that your conversion is built by qualified professionals, not hobbyists.
Our conversions are built to relevant British Standards including: BS EN 1646 for leisure accommodation vehicles, BS 7671 for 12V and mains electrical installations, and Gas Safe registered work compliant with BS 6896 where applicable. We can provide documentation on request.
Yes. We provide M1 type approval documentation where applicable, which confirms your vehicle meets European safety standards for passenger-carrying conversions. This is often required by specialist insurers.
Our NCC-aligned builds and M1 documentation are recognised by leading UK specialist campervan insurers including Brentacre, Adrian Flux, Caravan Guard, Safe Guard and Comfort Insurance. Having proper certification makes the insurance process significantly smoother.
Typically insurers will ask for: your M1 approval certificate, a conversion habitation report with EICR & LPG certificate and evidence of NCC-aligned construction. We provide all of this as standard with every conversion.
NCC Academy training is the industry-recognised standard for campervan and motorhome converters in the UK. It means your converter understands habitation requirements, safety standards, and build quality benchmarks — all of which affect your insurance eligibility, resale value, and day-to-day safety on the road.
