4.3 Portable & Open Flame Heating Equipment – Safety & Compliance Notice

Detailed Safety Notice

• Habitation Area Restriction: Customers must be explicitly advised against the use of portable or open flame heating equipment of any kind inside the habitation area of motorhomes, caravans, or campervans. Unflued or portable combustion heaters pose severe risks of accidental fire, property damage, and the dangerous accumulation of carbon monoxide, which can be fatal in enclosed spaces.

• LPG Storage Requirements: All Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) containers, cylinders, and canisters must be stored strictly within a dedicated, sealed, and ventilated gas locker designed for this purpose.

• Strict Prohibition of Indoor Use: LPG containers, portable gas cylinders, and associated appliances must never be operated, stored unvented, or kept inside the living or sleeping quarters of the vehicle under any circumstances.
