The SWB pop-top roof fitment is compatible across all variants from their respective introduction dates. CCCampers, as a UK specialist in campervan conversions and all-electric campervan work, regularly fit pop-top roofs to all platform siblings.

What is the difference between the SWB and LWB Partner / Rifter?
The SWB (standard wheelbase) is the compact variant — ideal for urban use and easier parking. The LWB (or XL) offers more load length for larger conversions. This fitment is for the SWB only — please confirm your body length when booking.

Do you fit pop-top roofs to electric versions such as the e-Partner or e-Berlingo?
Yes — CCCampers holds IMI EV & Hybrid Level 3 TechSafe accreditation and is fully qualified to work safely on the high-voltage systems of electric variants. Please advise when booking if your van is an EV.

How long does pop-top roof installation take?
Most Partner / Rifter SWB pop-top roof fittings are completed within 3–5 days at our Worcestershire workshop. Lead times vary by season — book early to secure your slot.

Is the fitting included in the price?
Yes — the £3,199 price includes full professional installation by our NCC Academy Trained and IMI TechSafe registered technicians. VAT is included.

Can I add solar panels?
Yes — optional solar panel integration is available as an extra. Discuss your full build specification when you enquire.

Ventilation and Applicable Standards

Applicable standards depend on the work carried out and the vehicle’s specification. BS EN 721 (Leisure accommodation vehicles — Safety ventilation requirements) covers the minimum sizes and positions of permanent ventilation openings to help manage gas build-up and carbon monoxide risks. Ventilation must be considered for both LPG-equipped and gas-free vans. BS EN 1949 applies to LPG installations where fitted and is not applicable to gas-free builds.

Roof beds are optional add-ons and are not included as standard.

CCCampers workshop and qualifications

The CCCampers team is NCC Academy Trained, has IMI Level 3 TechSafe EV/hybrid training and operates an AWS Approved Workshop. We specialise in campervan conversions and all-electric campervan work. Our team has experience with VCA vehicle approval processes.

Optional pop-top roof upgrades

A white roof shell and grey canvas are supplied as standard. Personalise your roof with Colour Code Your Pop Up Roof or the Pop-Top Roof Canvas Colour Upgrade – 20 Colours. Pop-Top Roof Bed Boards are also available separately, subject to compatibility with your roof and vehicle. Colour upgrades and roof bed boards are optional extras, charged separately, and are not included in the standard roof price.
