VW ID. Buzz SWB & LWB Awning Rail

A little more shelter at the sliding door and a simple way to connect your drive-away awning. Our fitted awning rail upgrade is available for both short-wheelbase (SWB) and long-wheelbase (LWB) VW ID. Buzz vehicles, helping you make more of your campervan when you stop for the day.

We supply and fit the awning rail at our Worcestershire workshop, matching the rail to your wheelbase and checking its position against your vehicle and any existing roof accessories. This is an upgrade service for your own vehicle; a vehicle is not included.

A Practical Upgrade for Campsite Life

The rail acts as a rain gutter above the sliding door, helping to keep rainwater away from the doorway. Its built-in 6mm keder C-section also provides a connection for compatible freestanding drive-away awnings and accessories with a 6mm keder strip.

Whether you want a sheltered space for muddy boots or extra room to relax beside your Buzz, the rail provides a connection for your compatible drive-away awning.

Supplied-and-Fitted Rail Package

• Awning rail matched to your VW ID. Buzz SWB or LWB
• UK-designed and manufactured black anodised malleable aluminium profile
• Front rubber end cap and small rear end cap
• Supply and fitting by CCCampers at our Worcestershire workshop

The package does not include a drive-away awning, a wind-out awning or additional canopy brackets.

Fitment and Compatibility

This upgrade is available for both SWB and LWB VW ID. Buzz vehicles. The rail is shaped to suit the ID. Buzz bodywork and fits above the sliding door on the nearside of a UK vehicle. Please tell us your vehicle's model year and wheelbase when booking so we can confirm the correct rail.

If your Buzz has a pop-top roof or roof rack, we will check the rail position and clearance against your particular setup before confirming suitability.
