Customer-supplied campervan conversion, from £17,999
For customers who own or plan to source a suitable ID. Buzz Cargo. Choose a Duo or Solo gas-free conversion. The Stargaze pop-top roof is included in all four listed SWB and LWB conversion configurations; the roof bed is optional. You supply the base vehicle.
Current conversion prices are £17,999 for SWB Duo, £18,999 for SWB Solo, £19,999 for LWB Duo and £20,999 for LWB Solo. Vehicle suitability, availability, optional equipment and the final quotation are confirmed before ordering.

Make your own ID. Buzz ready for time away
Bring a suitable ID. Buzz Cargo to our Worcestershire workshop for a conversion planned around its variant, wheelbase, factory seating, plated weights and the way you want to travel. Duo and Solo layouts are available, with a side kitchen, sleeping arrangement and gas-free habitation equipment according to the selected specification.
The current standard power package includes a 320Ah LiFePO4 habitation battery, 2000W pure sine wave inverter and 1000W single induction hob. Customers expecting higher electrical demand can choose the optional 640Ah battery and 3000W inverter. Check the selected listing for appliance options and the equipment included in your quotation.
The habitation electrical system is separate from the vehicle’s high-voltage traction battery. Actual off-grid duration depends on appliance loads, heating, temperature and charging input. We’ll discuss what you want to run rather than promise a fixed number of days between charges.

Planning an ID. Buzz Cargo Long Wheelbase conversion?
Volkswagen has advised CCCampers that ID. Buzz Cargo Long Wheelbase ordering is expected to open in January 2027. This is an expected vehicle-ordering date, not a confirmed delivery date or a promise of a completed campervan in January.
Vehicle delivery and conversion dates are agreed separately. If you are planning an LWB build, speak to us before ordering your base vehicle so we can discuss suitability, your preferred layout and the proposed conversion specification.
The complete Wyre: vehicle and campervan together
If you would rather choose your campervan without sourcing the base vehicle separately, the complete Wyre brings both parts together. It offers the recognisable character of the VW ID. Buzz, with the finished conversion supplied by CCCampers.

Just need a pop-top roof?
Standalone Stargaze roof fitting is an option if you want additional standing height without booking a complete interior conversion. The rear-opening roof hinges at the front and raises at the rear, providing standing height over the rear living and kitchen area when fitted to a suitable vehicle.
A roof bed is an optional upgrade and is not included as standard. Finished height and vehicle suitability are confirmed before fitting.

Only the complete Wyre campervan includes the base vehicle. The standalone roof and customer-supplied conversion services require you to provide a suitable VW ID. Buzz.

Will the conversion affect driving range?
The habitation system is separate from the vehicle’s high-voltage traction battery. Added weight, weather, driving conditions and charging arrangements can still influence real-world energy use and driving range.

How is earth bonding addressed in a VW ID. Buzz campervan?
Protective earthing and bonding are considered as part of the complete 230V habitation electrical installation, with reference to the applicable requirements of BS 7671 Section 721. The design must account for the hook-up and inverter supply arrangements where fitted. An earth bond alone does not establish compliance: the complete arrangement requires appropriate design, inspection and testing by a suitably qualified electrical professional. Habitation electrical systems are separate from the vehicle's high-voltage traction system. A standalone pop-top roof fitment is not a complete electrical installation.
Which safety standards are relevant to a VW ID. Buzz campervan conversion?
The relevant standards depend on the agreed conversion and installed equipment. References include BS EN 1646-1 for motorcaravan habitation health and safety, BS 7671 Section 721 for 230V electrical installations, BS EN 1648-2 for motorcaravan 12V DC installations, BS EN 721 for safety ventilation and BS EN 13878 for leisure accommodation vehicle terminology. BS EN 1648-1 concerns caravans rather than motorcaravans. BS EN 1949 applies to LPG installations, so it is not applicable to the gas-free habitation systems offered here. The applicable editions and evidence of conformity should be confirmed against the specific build documentation.
How are travel-seat and seatbelt anchorage requirements addressed?
CCCampers conversions use M1-tested equipment. The agreed travel-seat specification and supporting evidence for the specific seat, mounting system and vehicle installation should be confirmed for the individual conversion, including applicable seatbelt anchorage requirements.
What qualifications does CCCampers bring to VW ID. Buzz conversions?
