SYKESIDE CAMPING PARK
In the heart of the Dovedale Valley, surrounded by Dove Crag, Hart Crag and Fairfield with Brotherswater nearby, Sykeside is an inspiring location for Lake District camping, offering stunning views wherever you pitch.
Skyeside Campsite are dog friendly, so anyone with four legs is very welcome in the bunkhouse, on the campsite, in the bar, restaurant and in the shop. They ask that dogs are kept on a lead (and under control) as the local sheep and deer are a little nervous.
WINDERMERE CAMPING & CARAVANNING CLUB SITE (C&CC)

Camping in Windermere provides water-based fun, walking and all of the attractions of the Lakes are accessible from this site.


Our family-friendly Windermere campsite is betwixt popular Bowness-on-Windermere and the bustling market town of Kendal. Its location makes it ideal for exploring both towns and the varied attractions of the southern Lake District.

Sit back and enjoy the peace and tranquility of this campsite near Windermere, with plentiful wildlife and the wonderful views. Windermere is not only spacious, it’s well laid out and boasts many environmentally-friendly facilities. There is a separate tent camping area, backpacker facility, a family camping area and children's play area.

 

TROUTBECK C&M CLUB SITE

Troutbeck Head Club Site in Penrith is set in classically beautiful North Lakeland countryside, and is conveniently only 4 miles from the restaurants and shops of Ullswater. A fabulous getaway for nature lovers and walkers, the caravan park nestles in a picturesque valley alongside a babbling brook.

Situated below the Great Mell Fell and with spectacular views of Blencathra to the west, Troutbeck Head Club Site gives you access to some of the prettiest walks in the country. For superb views of the central mountains, a drive over the dramatic Kirkstone Pass is not to be missed. This will lead you to Windermere, Ambleside and Grasmere, where you can sample the local restaurants and explore some of Wordsworth's favourite haunts. A lake cruise on Ullswater is a must, with the option of a scenic walk between Howtown and Glenridding (only 7 miles away). For the energetic, the Rookin House Farm Centre next door to the caravan site offers plenty of fun activities - quad bikes, archery, go-karting, clay pigeon shooting, horse riding and much more.

The site provides easy access to numerous lakes, mountains, valleys & rivers, whilst pretty villages, country pubs and farm shops are plentiful, making Troutbeck the ideal destination for exploring and relaxing in the Cumbrian countryside.

A small shop is now available in reception selling essential items.
