Before you book

If you already own an eDeliver 3 or have one in mind, bring its year, variant, wheelbase, traction-battery details and any existing modifications. Tell us how many travelling seats you need, your preferred sleeping arrangement, whether you want a pop-top or optional roof bed, and which appliances you expect to run off-grid.

Let us know whether you want roof fitting only, a conversion of your own van or a complete Kinlet supplied by CCCampers. These details help us compare vehicle suitability, layout and power options around the way you plan to travel.

Already own an eDeliver 3?

The Kinlet conversion service is for customers who own or plan to source a suitable Maxus eDeliver 3 panel van. Duo provides four travelling seats and a double berth; Solo provides three travelling seats and a single berth, with the installation confirmed for the individual vehicle.

The conversion-only listing currently specifies a 300 Ah LiFePO4 leisure battery, 2000 W inverter, twin induction hob, 30-litre fridge and 30-litre water tank. The Stargaze pop-top roof and roof bed are optional. View the Kinlet conversion specification and prices.

Want the vehicle and conversion supplied together?

The complete Kinlet is a separate offer, including the selected Maxus eDeliver 3 base vehicle. Current vehicle-year options run from 2021 to brand new, with three- or four-travelling-seat selections. Confirm the exact vehicle, traction battery, mileage, condition and final equipment before ordering.

The complete-campervan listing specifies a standard 320 Ah LiFePO4 leisure battery, 2000 W inverter, 1500 W single induction hob, 200 W solar and rear-opening Stargaze roof. The optional higher-use package provides 640 Ah and a 3000 W inverter, with twin induction cooking available. The upper roof bed and infill board are optional.

The complete campervan and conversion-only packages do not have identical standard specifications. Compare the selected listing rather than assuming equipment is the same. Explore the complete Kinlet campervan.

Standalone Stargaze pop-top roof fitting

The ED3 Stargaze roof is rear-opening: it hinges at the front and raises at the rear to provide additional standing headroom. A roof bed is an optional add-on, not standard equipment. Vehicle suitability, existing modifications, roof options and finished height are confirmed before fitting.

Frequently asked questions

Does the price include a Maxus eDeliver 3?

Only the complete Kinlet campervan includes the selected base vehicle. Roof fitting and the Kinlet conversion-only service require you to supply a suitable van.

Are the conversion-only and complete Kinlet specifications the same?

No. The current conversion-only listing specifies a 300 Ah battery and twin induction hob. The complete campervan specifies a standard 320 Ah battery and single induction hob, with an optional 640 Ah/3000 W higher-use package. Check the selected listing and agreed quotation.

Is a roof bed included?

No. Roof beds are optional and must be included explicitly in your agreed specification. The pop-top roof itself is optional on the conversion-only listing and included in the complete Kinlet specification shown here.

Does four travelling seats mean four sleeping berths?

No. Travelling seats and sleeping berths are different. Confirm the chosen lower-bed layout and any optional roof-bed capacity before ordering.

How much payload and driving range will my campervan have?

Both depend on the exact vehicle and completed specification. Added weight, optional equipment, occupants, water, temperature and driving conditions affect the result. Confirm the selected vehicle's plated limits and finished weight; do not rely on a generic figure.

Where is the work carried out?

CCCampers completes conversion and fitting work at its Worcestershire workshop, serving customers across the West Midlands, Wales and the wider UK.

How is earth bonding addressed in a Maxus eDeliver 3 campervan?

Protective earthing and bonding are considered as part of the complete 230V habitation electrical installation, with reference to the applicable requirements of BS 7671 Section 721. The design must account for the hook-up and inverter supply arrangements where fitted. An earth bond alone does not establish compliance: the complete arrangement requires appropriate design, inspection and testing by a suitably qualified electrical professional. Habitation electrical systems are separate from the vehicle's high-voltage traction system. A standalone pop-top roof fitment is not a complete electrical installation.

Which safety standards are relevant to a Kinlet campervan conversion?

The relevant standards depend on the agreed conversion and installed equipment. References include BS EN 1646-1 for motorcaravan habitation health and safety, BS 7671 Section 721 for 230V electrical installations, BS EN 1648-2 for motorcaravan 12V DC installations, BS EN 721 for safety ventilation and BS EN 13878 for leisure accommodation vehicle terminology. BS EN 1648-1 concerns caravans rather than motorcaravans. BS EN 1949 applies to LPG installations, so it is not applicable to these gas-free habitation systems. The applicable editions and evidence of conformity should be confirmed against the specific build documentation.

How are travel-seat and seatbelt anchorage requirements addressed?

Any added travel seats and seatbelt anchorages need supporting evidence appropriate to the specific seat, mounting system and vehicle installation, including applicable UN Regulation No. 14 requirements. M1 describes a vehicle category rather than a standalone crash-test standard. The agreed travel-seat specification and relevant installation evidence should be confirmed for the individual conversion.

What qualifications does CCCampers bring to electric campervan conversions?

CCCampers combines NCC Academy Trained habitation knowledge, IMI Level 3 TechSafe EV/hybrid training and AWS Approved Workshop status. These credentials support its specialist electric campervan conversion work in Worcestershire. Training and workshop status do not replace the design, inspection, testing and installation evidence required for each individual build.
